I received the box of staples in the mail. Upon opening the envelope, the staple box was torn and staples all over in the envelope. Had to throw away 2 strips of staples. I will probably just buy them at the local office supply store in the future.
I was worried at first, after all, I'm investing in 25,000 staples. That is a lot of staples to get stuck with if they are poor. Turns out the Swingline staples work in my red swingline stapler. I have tested them by stapling paper. They were able to pierce several sheets, bend on the opposite side, leading to the papers being held closely together. If I get bored I might test them by stapling a friend's arm or forehead. But since that isn't an advertised use case I'm giving these five stars.
Swingline staples have been a "staple" in our household for decades. We like that they stay stuck together in a long strip until you put them in the stapler. Some cheaper brands break apart in the box and you end up with waste because you can't load individual staples iphone 6s black Friday into the stapler.
We also like that these staples are strong enough to be driven through up to 20 pages of paper without bending or wimping out. They don't rust on your documents, either. We bought some off-brand staples once, and they rusted and left a mess in a storage box of old bank statements.

My husband will take one box with him to work; I have one in my desk at home; our daughter will take a box to college; and we'll put the rest in a drawer. We'll probably never have to buy staples again, but I think it's a good deal when you can buy a lifetime supply of a good quality product for less than $10.
I praised these staples as I was creating a very large bulletin board display at school yesterday. These staples easily went through laminated material, photos, and cardstock. Last year I thought I would lose my mind trying to create a bulletin board with similar materials because the staples I used constantly bent, doubled up and jammed. This year my background paper was even a bit thicker, and these staples had no problem. I used the same stapler, so I feel sure that the difference was the result of better quality staples. I buy most of my school supplies with the money I earn as a teacher because the products on the bid list we must use when paying with school budget money are almost always junk. (I also bought the rainbow colored cardstock, laminator film, photo paper and ink with my salary, and most of it came through Amazon.) These Swingline Chisel Point Staples are awesome. I'll never go back to using "school quality" staples.
